What is a secret stitch along?
Stitching a cross stitch design without knowing what the end result will be? It’s fun! Our experience from previous Secret Stitch Along projects tells us that many stitchers love it.
The idea behind the Secret Stitch Along is that you buy a kit without knowing which design you are going to make. Participants of the Secret Stitch Along 2025/2 will be the first to finish a beautiful Vervaco counted cross stitch design that will only be released in complete kit form in spring 2026. Fabric and threads will be included in your kit. Choose from 14 count Aida or 27 count evenweave
The picture of the design and the instructions are NOT included in the kit. When you buy the kit, you need to register for the Secret Stitch Along 2025/2 on the dedicated Facebook page or on the website. Registrations open 29th August. Starting from 26th September, a piece of the pattern will be shared weekly in the Secret Stitch Along Facebook group and via email. The pattern will be released and completed over a period of 13 weeks, ending on 11th December. You can share your experiences, progress and any other thoughts with like-minded stitchers and the Vervaco/Lanarte designers in the dedicated Facebook group.

This is a nice kit. The colours are lovely. As it's a mystery stitch along, I've no idea what it will look like.
The only downside is that the fabric isn't serged. The evenweave is fraying badly, and I've not started stitching on it! I really wish companies would take the time to serge the fabrics in their kits.
Received order speedily. Good quality. Awaiting first set of instructions for mystery project soon.
